12 Books You Should Read At Least Once In Your Life

These books are not listed in the order of importance or value.

Each book is a masterpiece in its own right and has the power to change your life.

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

This is a book written by a psychologist who survived several concentration camps and documented different reactions, choices, and mindsets of people who survived vs. those who didn't. The book is incredibly insightful and thought provoking.

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

Timeless wisdom and a perfect companion to tackle any obstacle life throws at you. I've read this book many times and I always find relevant lessons and insights.

The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt

If you've ever wondered what makes people happy, this book will give you the answer backed by neuroscience, Eastern philosophy, and modern psychology.

Mastery by Robert Greene

This book will take you through the journey of what it takes to go from just being interested in a particular topic or slightly skill to becoming a true master.

Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

My favorite book on understanding how the human mind works, our innate irrationality as well as how cognitive biases affect our decision making. If you love to learn about behavioural psychology this is a must-read.

On The Shortness of Life by Seneca

Nearly every sentence of this short book could be a quote for a modern inspirational poster. It's as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago. An absolute must-read for every human being.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey

One of the most powerful books I've read in my life. It's a must-read both for personal as well as professional success.

Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz

This book has truly the power to trigger a deep identity level change. If you let it, it will help you let go of your self-image and past failures which are holding you back from making progress in life.

Essentialism by Greg McKeown

My favorite book on living a focused life through minimalism and how to direct time and energy into things that really matter. If you struggle with information overload or if you're stuck doing “busy” work without moving forward this is the book for you.

Black Box Thinking by Matthew Syed

My favorite book on dealing and learning from failure to become more success. The processes and systems from Black Box Thinking can be applied to any area of life and I've personally used the approach with my fitness, business, and relationships. This book is a must-read.

The War of Art by Steven Pressfield

The one book you must read to conquer procrastination and mental blocks. I find it to be particularly useful to combat my perfectionist tendencies as a creator and entrepreneur.

Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol Dweck

Mindset is a huge part of success and this is my favorite book on the topic. It will not only help you developed a better mindset but also teach the same principle to others. Very important book for parents to help them cultivate the right mindset in their family.
